Missing Teeth? We'll Bridge that Gap!
Dental bridges - just like any bridge - literally bridge the gap created by missing teeth.
Porcelain fixed bridges are the most popular choice, as they look the most natural. They are also extremely durable, usually lasting for many years before needing to be replaced.
Will Porcelain Fixed Bridges Work for Me?

What Does the Procedure Entail?
The fitting of a porcelain fixed bridge needs at least two dental visits, several weeks apart. In the first visit, a small amount of enamel from the abutment teeth (on either side of the gap) is removed in preparation for crowning. Your artificial teeth (pontics) will later be attached to these crowns. Accurate molds are then made and sent to a dental laboratory where the bridge will be made. In the meantime, you'll wear a temporary one.
At your second visit, your bridge will be cemented and fitted. This may be done temporarily, allowing your mouth time to get used to the new bridge. It will then be carefully checked to make sure it fits well, looks good and feels comfortable when you bite down and chew, before finally being permanently bonded or cemented to your teeth.
