How are veneers placed?
Porcelain veneers are thin shells which are custom-made in a lab and permanently bonded to the teeth. Two appointments are required to place veneers: the first for completing any minor preparatory shaping and taking an impression; and a second for placing the veneers once they have been created. Lumineers are a new kind of porcelain veneer that are so thin they don't require any tooth-buffing before placement.
