About Us

Cosmetic Dentists Madison | Dr. Robert Knutson Dr. Robert (Rudy) Knutson graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1974. Following graduation, Dr. Rudy was asked to teach Operative Dentistry at the University, serving as Clinical Instructor to third year dental students. Dr Rudy enjoyed teaching but remained committed to family practice. The opportunity to join 5 dentists in a family group practice brought him to Madison in 1975.

In 1982, Dr. Rudy founded this family practice, which has grown steadily, based upon excellence of service. Dr. Rudy believes that continuing education is vital to excellent service. Therefore our entire team attends numerous continuing education courses. This ongoing review of new information keeps us proficient in the techniques and procedures within our respective areas of patient care.

Dr. Rudy serves his community through Door Creek Church, where he remains active in the youth program, working with the 3rd through 6th grade students. Dr. Rudy also donates his time and skills to serve the people of Sumpango, Guatemala, demonstrating God’s love for them through dentistry.

Continuing our involvement in the community, Complete Family Dentistry provides scholarships at two local high schools, provides dentistry for disadvantaged youngsters through the “Give a Kid a Smile” program, helps sponsor the Memorial Day Parade, and is a member of the Monona Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Rudy, his wife, Nancy, and their children Emilie, Hawk, and Alyssa live on a small farm near Cottage Grove. They enjoy raising horses, sheep and the outdoor activities associated with country life.

Dr. Angie's and Dr. Rudy's practice philosophy is: "It is important for me to provide the same high quality care to my patients that I would want for myself and my family. One of my goals is to see the children of patients whom I treated when they were children. I enjoy being part of a family-oriented dental clinic."
